Now.
kinseymill asked Isn't Aragorn getting any? and
shrinetolust got me thinking about armour and swords... so this is really their fault
So...
The sword
Boromir stared into the campfire.
His shield was polished to such a sheen that it mirrored the glow of the fire on his face, and on Aragorn's.
In the reflected sheen the ranger's face was all shadows and spotlights. His eyes were dark, but the bottom lip tugging on the pipe he was smoking was lighted in stark relief.
Boromir's eyes kept homing in on that. He wanted to shake his head, to dispel the obsession.
Back in Gondor he'd had just anyone he wanted, in any way he wanted.... and now he would have given all he had for a taste of one small piece of flesh.
Not even a full mouth, just a lip... a mere lip had become all he craved.
He set down his shield and walked around the fire to Aragorn's side, his sword still gripped in his hand.
Aragorn made no movement as Boromir settled on his haunches between his legs, he just waited, smoke drifting from his nostrils.
Boromir's hand reached out and took the pipe away, setting it down on the ground and returning to cup Aragorn's jaw, keeping his lips half-open.
The ranger's mouth looked somehow naked now, something was missing...
Boromir's other hand reached up, shifting his hold on his sword, bringing the pommel forward and teasing with its cold steel the perfect piece of flesh he craved.
And he watched hungrily as the bottom lip pushed forward to meet the touch of cold steel.
