I'd chanced on this some time ago, while looking for fics in what here is prettily called an obscure fandom *g*
It's now up again for this Christmas and reading the list of fandoms just makes me boggle and drool. Me wants to read them, me wants to write them.
A few choice obscure fandoms among the many listed:
- Anna Karenina (almost makes me wish I could write het)
- Belgariad (Garion/Zakath? or Hettar/anyone?)
- Caravaggio (*dies*)
- Crimson Tide (*smirks*)
- Dangerous Liaisons (*revives long enough to die again*)
- Fionavar Tapestry (I have only one thing to say, and that is Diarmuid)
- Julian Kestrel (*purrs*)
- Ladyhawke (sorry, another swoon)
- Stormy Monday (*ggg*)
- Swordspoint (the first book I ever read with a m/m couple)
How can one choose ???

Date: 2004-11-01 01:41 pm (UTC)I will probably offer to write Stormy Monday since it's something I've already done, it's going to be hard to narrow down my requests to four fandoms ;)

Date: 2004-11-01 01:31 pm (UTC)Oh please oh please....
- Crimson Tide (*smirks*)
I dunno, what with the ironing scene and the significant *looks*--I'd be willing to call it canon slash if you are... *grin*
- Fionavar Tapestry (I have only one thing to say, and that is Diarmuid)
Oh my yes... I'd give quite a lot to read, say, Diarmuid/Paul. Every time I read that series, I end up crying at the end...
- Ladyhawke (sorry, another swoon)
Oh definitely... but I'm not sure I could see Philippe/Etienne...
- Stormy Monday (*ggg*)
Gee, I wonder why you'd want that? *grin*
- Swordspoint (the first book I ever read with a m/m couple)
Oh yes... have you read the sequel, "Fall of the Kings"? It's even more wonderful, and there's even some sex! *grin*
I'd love to read any of these... and love it even more if you'd write them! *grin*

Date: 2004-11-01 01:45 pm (UTC)Diarmuid/Kevin wouldn't be bad either, though they're too similar in a way. Or Arthur/Diarmuid.. And, yes, they both make me cry too.. such a pity
I know someone who writes Caravaggio stuff brilliantly, I'm going to go and poke her *g*
And after what you've told me I'm definitely going to order Fall of the Kings ;)
