I wouldn't want to give everyone the impression I'm some kind of nut case who doesn't like to be on vacation, but when being on vacation means not being able to go online for something like four weeks...well, it sort of makes you start to twitch badly and miss everyone disastrously, not to mention the fact of having roleplaying characters (a.k.a. spoiled pups) whining in your head because you're keeping them away from their mates.
I enjoyed my week in Prague enormously (despite the overbooking on the Milan to Prague flight, it took me one day to cover a 1 hr 40 minutes flight) though I am not at all happy at how my most loved city is becoming a touristy playground filled with MacDonalds, Pizza Huts and irish pubs.
The three weeks in the mountains were restful and uneventful. I was hoping for better weather but at least it was nicely cool.
There will be fics coming up soon ;) I need to get some typing and a lot of editing and a bit of research done.

Date: 2004-08-21 09:45 pm (UTC)I've only been to Prague once about 4 yrs ago, and even then, I was a bit disappointed with how Americanized it was becoming. I mean i traveled all the way over so I can experience a different culture. It's still one of the most beautiful city I've visted though.

My parents went to Prague several years ago and enjoyed it immensely... and so glad you're rested and relaxed! After all, that's what vacations are for. But I've missed reading your characters and your fic horribly, so I'm glad you're back and writing!
