I haven't screencapped in ages, so while I was watching When saturday comes today I did a bit of click and save.

Though I was a bit prejudiced cause I'm no soccer fan, I have to say that the movie is really beautiful, in that British style of movies like Brassed off, Billy Elliott etc.
It is probably the movie Sean felt was closest to his own background and as for me I certainly could relate to it a lot.. my Nottingham boyfriend of circa 15 years ago could have been Jimmy Muir's twin *g*

When Saturday comes
Am SO jealous -- I still haven't seen this movie! I have the DVD sitting here (thanks to the wonderful pipuk but it's Region 2, and alas, I'm in Canada and without a multi-region player. *sniff* Still trying to find someone around here who can convert it for me (already asked the ex-lamb, no luck there).

Out of respect of the wishes of my 'Manndecker' co-writer I can't do a Sean/Vig/Orli ummm... tripling, but she has said I can write a companion fic to satisfy my dirty mind Coach!Sean. As for the pairing... I'll have to wait and see which one of my muses jumps out at me... *eg*

So glad you enjoyed WSC. I understand what you mean about it having the same sort of feeling as Brassed off & Billy Elliot. It reminds me alot of Sheffield in the early 90's when there was a lot of unemployment and dereliction. Thankfully Sheffield has improved for the better in recent years.

The picture of the stand at Bramall Lane shows my seat as well. I'm about 8 rows up behind the white pillar on the right hand side by the aisle as you look at the picture. It always makes me smile to see it on screen like that :)
