As promised here are some scans of pictures I've taken this summer in Prague.
It is difficult for me to comment on Prague, it is too much a part of my heart and imo no picture can do justice to its beauty and magic.
But.. well, here they are..
Lots of big pics under the cut so this will go slow, please be patient *g*
The Moldava river, though the Czech name is Vltava *g*

One of the most well-known landmarks, the church of Our Lady of Tyn on the Old Town Square. I always say I want to live in one of its turrets..
The Certovka, a beautiful little canal branching off the Moldava river. During the flood of August 2002 the water covered the roofs of these houses.
We're on the other side of the river now, in Mala Strana (the Little Quarter). These are the guard towers at the end of the Charles bridge at sunset
And a night view of the bridge and towers
If you step off the tourist route this is what Mala Strana feels like at night *grumbles at the lack of proper night film*

And when you stroll during the day you find out that the houses are known by the sign on their front... Like the Two Suns, the Black Eagle, the Red Fox, or the Three Violins..

And for last one of my favorite places in Prague (no, I swear the place is not macabre), the Old Jewish Cemetery. It dates back to the 15th century and due to the limited space allotted to Jews in the city graves in it are 12 layers deep and stick randomly out of the grass.
