Autumn, finally

And today it really looks it. The sky has gone that whitish-gray color it will be for several months now and the air has a definite bite to it. Time to get warmer clothes out, no more going around bare-legged, no more flowered dresses. Black and gray and red and green and pumpkin are the colors I usually wear in the autumn and winter.

Though yesterday was really sunny and warm. We strolled along the lake for hours trying to digest the overload of chestnuts and cream and meringue that is the seasonal delicacy in the area of Switzerland that's close to the Italian border and my nose and chin are a bit sunburnt.

Got a lot of things done, RL and lj related. Photoshop is up and running though I have no clue as to how it works *sighs*, but I did manage to change the lj layout and am working on a nice sidebar with pictures and on adding links to fav sites. Cd copies will go out tomorrow to several people and I am making slow progress on the fic that has a closer deadline.

And since it's cold enough now, I've switched from quick showers to my beloved one-hour soaks in a steaming bathtub with Lush bath bombs. Paradise...
